Comte de Sats Germain on Nostr: I don't think Hebrew and Greek are close enough for that to carry through... But I'll ...

I don't think Hebrew and Greek are close enough for that to carry through... But I'll also admit I've never seriously studied either. So... maybe?

Some of my divided thoughts on this... There are a few things that I think must be literal codes, written for someone who has no reason to tell us what they mean. Another thought is, it sure seems to be saying something about the rational process... Rational thinking, the sword, is either paired with pride or humility. Humility is the path that leads to God. Linguistically, humility is the recognition that the words are not the thing. Pride is the default, confusing the words for the real thing. So there's a battle between the people of the city, Zion, which is a spiritual thing and not the physical mockery of the real Zion, verses the enemies of God, who are confused about what's real. That's kind of a summary of how I read that and some other parts of that book I avoid, Revelations. It's just too much of a firehose...

Here's an article I found about it, which I find rather inconclusive and I think really reinforces the notion of it being used as a code for someone:
