note that sending encrypted data over public bands is probably a bit illegal, which is what makes this project beautiful. yes, you can turn any walkie talkie into an end to end encrypted messenger. sideband provides the protocol and medium independence. works the same way over internet, lora, or you can fax someone a QR code. any way you read it, it gets integrated in the messenger. does not matter if it comes through space or from a fax, or from noisy Baofeng walkie talkie, you see the message in the messenger exactly where it should be.
