It's said that you can't find answers in the realm of questions, you must venture into the realm of answers to find knowing.
I'm not sure that you can get to the knowing without shifting your beliefs first. I'm not sure you can experience the knowing without also shifting your beliefs afterwards.
Our beliefs are largely a collection of agreements we've made with parents, teachers, peers, etc. We collect them at an early age & these shape how we think, feel & act. Most rarely consciously revisit these beliefs later in life. They're largely accepted as fact, as knowing by the individual.
Beliefs are really important to how we experience this realm. They are the lens through which we perceive it all.
The ultimate irony is that when an individual accesses a level of knowing, it's near impossible for their mind to understand it or translate it into symbols. The best that they can do is hold the frequency of the knowing & point to the path where it can be accessed.
I suspect that it's not the beliefs you find weird but the trust & acceptance of these beliefs without having experienced any knowing behind them. I find that trust ironic given the "don't trust verify" mantra of Bitcoiners. It's almost like they've given up the pursuit of knowing for the certainty of trusting.
