In the context of Mastodon, it's important to talk about "clients" and "server" because some functionality comes from *your* device and some functionality comes from someone else's device.

Perfect case in point: quoted boosts.

Mastodon (the server) doesn't support quoted boosts.

But npub1rk3rclnu49dha37t55qjuqcvued69lgu52p7hpj9dp2ku5j4vwtssp43sg (npub1rk3…43sg), a Mastodon client (iOS app) does support quoted boosts.
