Okay, possibly useful thoughts on #SelfPublishing paperbacks. I’ve now worked with Amazon and Ingram Spark for print books, and here’s what goes down. WAYYY back in 2013, the Amazon gloss peeled more easily than the matte. So I just ordered the matte. The matte has this velvety feel, kinda nice UNTIL… it turns to glue. For whatever reason, Amazon matte finish can’t handle the summer heat or old age. It’s sticky as all get-out after a while.
