Lots of nuance here hard to describe in full but yeah I agree with you in part. Part of the issue is these things can be used in multiple and many ways. I certainly have a connection outside of psychedelic use also and don't mean those connections are less valuable but also I think you'd be surprised by the uses of psychedelics according to Greek sources.
