Currently, nostr-relay-tray doesn't actively pull events. This is one of the features I'm working on. Since not everyone has the ability or desire to expose their local service to the internet, the ability to pull events from public relays is necessary.
From my observation, there seems to be a broadcast service in the nostr network. This might be why you're seeing events from others in your relay.
