Some people panic when you propose something a bit bold without a warning sticker on it. Even when said bold thing requires considerable skill and intelligence to do, so an idiot wouldn't be able to try it anyway. Many Mythbusters experiments were like that:
"Do not try this at home!"
"Does any normal home just happen to have a 30 ft crane, a grand piano and an olympic swimming pool sitting around?"
