Who is all the same race and bloodline? The ancient Israelites were descendants of Jacob/Israel through Isaac and Abraham. Muhammad (peace be upon him) is believed to be a descendant of Ishmael and Abraham. That’s NOT to say every Muslim is a descendant of Ishmael and Jew a descendant of Jacob/Israel. In the book of Genesis, God blesses both lineages of Abraham, which I think a lot of people over look. One lineage goes on to form the Israelites and the other Islam. This book is pointing out that the Archangel Michael is the protector of Israel. The Archangel Gabriel was the one to tell Mary (peace be upon her) of the coming of her child Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). Gabriel is also the one who revealed the Quran to Muhammad.
