I feel that piece about the increase in paradoxes. The degree of nuance required to really understand anything continues to unfold like mandelbrot fractals. And yes absolutely bitcoin has provided me with the physical/digital freedom to liberate myself. Was it necessary? No, but it made the process much easier and will assist in liberating the entire planet given enough time.

Regarding circumstances in which someone has plenty of bitcoin, but zero attention to allocate, there are a two versions I see currently.

One might be if I'm living in a constant state of stress and activity. The material world is always vying for my attention in one way or another. If I don't stop to notice what is capturing my attention it's easy to get stuck in a continuous loop. Wealth doesn't fix that, though it does provide me with options.

The first thought that came to mind was of a man on his death bed. No more attention left to provide because his consciousness is slipping out of this physical reality.

What you said about being trapped in a simulation where our attention is constantly absorbed in illusion is exactly what these two scenarios represent.

Mystics and sages have been saying this in various ways for thousands of years.

Sometimes I see it too, but the awareness doesn't last. Which is alright with me.
