"content": "To add some crunch to #dinner, I decided to try the one of the stem lettuces that have been faithfully providing me with salad from the #garden all summer but are now running to flower. \n\nMine are considerably slimmer than the ones on the internet, and thus more of a faff to peel, but I got a reasonable amount of stem from it. \n\nRaw, it was very slightly bitter. Cooked, it was just very bland.
