I think too many films nowadays ruin their third acts/second halves by handholding audiences about how they're supposed to feel or to forcefully say if something is morally right or wrong. It feels like it's the embodiment of "media literacy", but more realistically it's just wanting a "good" and "bad" character, even if until that point characters had been nuanced.
