I dislike talking religion for the fact that it tends to go over poorly since I'm usually fairly bitey about it. I think the [problem of evil](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Problem_of_evil) pretty thoroughly debunks the existence of a benevolent deity, and also I just tend not to make a habit of believing in things that aren't falsifiable.
I don't have a crazy "falling out with religion" story or anything. I was raised Catholic, I had a really hard time reconciling the inconsistencies in the Bible, and I didn't like a lot of aspects of the church, so I spent a long time trying to figure out my religious beliefs before I realized I didn't believe in God anymore. I'm an agnostic atheist these days.
