It’s really not hard to see dogma in almost everything we become personally attached to. Not desirable, I agree. Whether it’s necessary is beside the point. It’s an artefact of building consensus.
That to someone like me religion appears made up is also not the point. Our entire culture is riddled with things we’ve made up
