The winter sun
Rises like a saga for the ages
All fire and ice
Raging in her red
Into the snow-torn stormcloud
There's an amber glow
Across the world
As if the furnace-door
Has blown open
Spilling lava-light
Over the rock
and rutted ground.
Wherever I go
In this wild world
My sky is full of music
And even the valley is alight
With the glow
Of a shimmering snow-bow.
