Silo, S1E1, opening scene: Dude [who apparently lives in quarters larger than my apartment, despite the fact that the whole show is set in a hermetically sealed underground city]: “We do not know who built the silo.”
Me: OH FOR FUCKSAKE the whole thing is operated by its residents and there are subterranean fields and cows and apparently generations of people have lived there successfully without the whole complex technological system crashing, but somehow more basic fundamental facts like “who built this” weren’t written down or remembered?
