A couple of weeks back I had a first look at my laundry-line bird counts. I updated my R script this week to add butterflies and seasonal effects. Here are the birds with season.

Kererū (NZ wood pigeons) are increasing & more often in summer months (a lot of city trees are fruiting)
Korimako (bellbirds) and piwakawaka (fantails) are increasing, & more often in winter.
Riroriro (grey warbler) are declining, and more often in winter.
