I live at 54° North. At this time of the year the time between sunrise and sundown is about 7 hours and due to the angle the sun is too low to be seen for another two hours during the day.
Seeing the sun would also require a clear sky. But the current menu only includes gray sky, rain and fog.
The older I get the more I understand the birds heading south for the winter.
