I'm also toying with the idea of making a wood finish that another woodworker I like developed, which is fully natural, has no harsh fumes, and is so safe that, if you somehow accidentally drank it, you wouldn't get sick.
The only rub here is that you need very high concentration ethanol (not denatured alcohol, which is poisoned), so either I have to find a source for 190 proof everclear (almost certainly illegal in Arkansas) or else find a lab supply company that will take me as a customer.
