Was talking to a guy yesterday who is from Cameroon and has been travelling around Africa/Asia for a while. He told me that he uses an app that allows him to easily make a transaction to enable him to withdraw cash at any moneygram outlet worldwide. He uses zero trad bank for spending/sending money. His savings(BTC and USDC) are in a non custodial wallet and when cash spending money needed he transfers to his app and then does the moneygram transaction. Seems like this is a USDC thing on stellar network which I don't really like but I was kind of jealous. Now moneygram do require id when collecting cash but compared to trad banks this seems a step ahead.
AQUA Wallet (npub1ajl…zx3q) you got any plans for worldwide off ramp into cash.
Yes, the longterm goal is bitcoin only saving/spending etc but we aren't any way near that right now so .....thoughts?
