There's quite an ass-kissing culture on LinkedIn. Kissing ass of companies. Well, if you have an account there and let it go to waste like me (because of the shitty ass-kissing culture), LinkedIn annoys you with thousands of emails that are supposed to encourage you to join again.
Today I gave in and joined the discussion again.
And found out that it's actually fun if you approach it with the exact opposite mindset and comment on ass-kissing posts.
For example, if someone posts something about how a candidate can prove their worth for a position that a company sets between $80K and $110K/year, then just go in and ask, in what market is the customer setting the price? Especially if it's a rare commodity like skilled labor.
And that with today's inflation we are in a supplier's market and you have to stop sucking up to companies and adopting their narratives and fulfilling their wet dreams.
I'm curious to see how the ass-kissing other members react to this.
