How did we get here? A quarter to a third of Americans are openly cheering a presidential candidate that emulates and channels a certain German leader from the 1930s and another quarter to a third are supporting a candidate that is enabling a genocide. And these are apparently our only choices. This is more of a failing of the American population than it is the fault of the candidates. How did we get here?
