I try not to give a shit about Oscars because who cares, it's never a great measure of quality. But this year they did surprisingly recognise a lot of indie/alt cinema and Anora sweeping was a pleasant surprise.
Only awards I went were warranted was Challengers for Best Editing and Best Score (which it didn't even get nominations for) and Best Lead and Supporting Actress awards should've gone to Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley (again, latter didn't even get a nomination).
