As I ate my sub I made very little eye contact which seemed to confuse her because I don't think she was used to people actually not asking her for things and bothering her and up to this point I had no idea who she was . She started talking to me and I looked up and said "are you going to bother me while I'm trying to eat?" She got a puzzled and startled look on her face and apologized to which I laughed and reminded her that was my promise to her but that I was happy to have a conversation on any subject that she liked but that I would respect her privacy . She smiled and told me that I was a very nice guy and that she appreciated sitting and having lunch with me . About this time a girl who was in her mid teens walked in with her mother she pointed at our table then came over quickly and asked the lady if they could take a picture together to which the lady replied yes . The girl reached out to hand me her phone so I could take a picture to which I responded no thank you I already have a phone then she said take a picture of us I told the girl that I had promised the lady that I was not going to interrupt your lunch and that I was going to keep my word , the lady I was eating with said it was okay and I looked at her and asked her why she wanted to break an important promise I told her that I was going to keep my word because she deserved to eat in peace and have privacy . The lady smiled at me the girl called her mother over who took their picture actually several and then she walked away
