My best friend has been hit with a slew of unrelated deaths. Parents, son, mother-in-law, brother and a few others, all in the last year. Deaths from accidents and illnesses. All unexpected. 7 this year alone.

He called me and told me his nephew was killed in a motorcycle crash. We saw it on the news but didn't know it was him.

My friend is exhausted emotionally. They are dealing with so many hard losses in such a short time.

I don't how to comfort him.
