Coldcard is bitcoin only, is open source, and is airgapped for extra security.
Ledger also stores a ton of sh*tcoins so the software is likely more susceptible to issues even if you only use the bitcoin app imo. Coldcard is the superior and is for signing your transactions. It's not the wallet itself, you need to use a wallet like Electrum for instance where your addresses are seen and where you create transactions to then sign on the coldcard and then broadcast to the timechain
