what if the choice is between people who all support genocide? You're judging people whose choice is between expressing no preference and voting for someone who supports genocide.
In Australia with preferential voting it's even worse, since we (generally) have to preference all candidates to cast a valid vote.
And we regularly have to explain that "I don't have a preference between fascist-adjacent and actual fascist" *is* still a preference.
