Optional algorithms might be interesting. Curating your own list for most ppl will subconscioussly building a feed only reinforces what you already know and less chance to see opposing views. Challenging your views regularly is healthy and usually leads to better reinforcement and conviction in the long run.
Opting out of my follow feed time to time would be nice but requires some algo to group together related content of potential interest. It's the last thing that I found I can't unplug completely away from Twitter yet.
