I really don't know why Google continues to block call recording functionality in the US I'm hoping that with Apple allowing it, Google follows suit.
iOS 18 can also transcribe your recorded phone calls, though only in English, Spanish, German, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and Portuguese in a variety of regions.
