Zergling_man (npub140w…su0k) Soy_Magnus (npub1xe5…xg59) That guy totally hates me.

Anyway, I do not know if people use those programs, I think anyone that wants Fruity Loops probably switched to lmms by now. I'm not really plugged into that ecosystem, like I learned the guitar and I learned to code, right? And sequencers and drum machines and shit like Reason and Fruity Loops and lmms all feel like "music IDE" except the wrong stuff is manual. Until I started doing bytebeat, I hated basically every means of using the computer to make music: they were all manual, they were slow (in terms of CPU time and actually using the system), they were limiting, and the automation tools were all these baroque bullshit things designed to make sense to DJs (so they made no sense to me, because they didn't look enough like a program to fit in that part of my head and they didn't look enough like a guitar to fit in that part of my head).

I know musicians rave about these tools, right, and I don't mean to shit on them if they like their tools, just to say these things never clicked with me; some people can make more sense of a piano than a drum kit, some pianists seriously hate synthesizers, I don't think the tools are any different.
