I run two tiny little instances, and Eugen Rochko (npub1vl7…f6g0) has no idea who I am...except maybe as an occasional annoyance.
But, if we had better moderation tools, and cross-instance trusted block-lists, more academics and journalists and artists would try out mastodon if admins and mods had better tools to protect our communities from bad-actors.
