The only answer to an engineer boasting about working 80h a week is "no you're not". Because no, they are not actually working 7am-9pm 6 days a week. And if they are, they only produce garbage until they burnout in a spectacular way (I saw a senior dev burnout for much less, it was not pretty).
But sure, continue glorifying a macho culture that believes that more work == better results, smart companies will just scoop engineers fed up with your bullshit.
