They waited about as long as they could, but brought their industrial leafblower (~$13k) and a couple of "backpack" leafblowers. There were a lot of autumn leaves to cleanup, and they did one last mowing.
FWIW their timing was almost perfect. That night we got our first snowfall of the season.
Overall I don't know that it was much louder than when they do their summertime weekly lawn mowing.
