“Do cats eat fennel?” says my fiance, walking into the kitchen. “The fennel I had out to dry is gone”

We both look over to where the herbs were drying on the windowsill. Immediately, up hops the cat and tucks straight in to the last few morsels of fennel, scattering rosemary everywhere in the process.
