Sketch of a proof in applied #economics
1. If workers are inept, employers don't care. Why? Because most workers are expendable. They'll just fire and replace.
2. But expendable workers who do well still get laid off (see: tech sector).
3. But non-expendable workers are non-expendable because of identity, not job skill (see: Bronny James).
4. A given worker is either expendable or not; 1-3 cover every case.
Ergo, at least under #capitalism, employers NEVER care about jobs being done well.
