I love reading RTO threads on Hacker News because ultimately it’s people realizing that their jobs don’t really don’t care what they think! You get paid well at a tech job and maybe get nice perks like free meals, but that doesn’t mean the company really cares about you, and definitely doesn’t care for your opinions on how the company should be run.
