Sat looking at the ceiling figuring I should probably do something about the bare mains wires from where the badly fitted smoke alarm fell off the ceiling.

Eh, not today.

(The smoke detector was simply screwedd to the plasterboard ceiling with wood screws not into any backing joist/timber. One day it just fell off.)
