confused to what you mean here in terms of "support for Linux"? Are you meaning that the company is adding patches to the Linux kernel in order to utilize capabilities of the chip? Is the chip being designed in a way that the Linux kernel already knows how to interact with it? What comes to mind is arm’s variant of ACPI and a bunch of other things that go into it
