Found some time to sketch some different shades of yellow on this squig friend and it's not quite working how I want. The temperature of the yellows I think is too far apart, they just sort of look wrong together.

Maybe some kind of dark red or brown undercoat before the yellow, or more all over with the darkest yellow... I dunno.

Things have been a bit busy and it makes it hard to make the proper mental space for painting.
