DarkMahesvara (npub1hf5…pc2h) I hear some say that this was done specifically to drive smaller indies off Unity.
Also, I understand John Riccitiello (of EA fame) dumped 2000 shares of Unity's stock just before making this announcement. Now that they're worth a fraction of what he made on them, he's in a good position to buy them all back or more, for pennies on the dollar.
