I just did something I haven’t done in maybe 15 or even 20 years and played one of my many penny whistles. It’s my old favourite carbon fibre one, very light and a really sweet tone. Just seeing if any tunes come back to me. I used to play a ton of folk, mainly Irish tunes, when I was in my teens and early 20s, then I joined a session when I was about 30 but I moved away. Not really played since.
