There's no way to close them to reopen them later, though I suppose you could look into Saved Sessions (https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/tabs/session-management/).

Also, you can post a feature request on our forum (https://forum.vivaldi.net/category/185/desktop-feature-requests), if the idea gets a lot of support from others we can look into implementing it.
