The day finally arrived when conditions were right and this lovingly prepared 1000 sq. ft. of suburban turf lawn was seeded with a mix of fescue, Dutch clover, self-heal and creeping thyme to turn it into 1000 sq. ft. of "bee lawn" supporting minimal mowing, nitrogen fixation, and pollinator-friendly native flowers. We'll see what springtime brings.
