Watched DS9 and Voyager the whole way through with my wife. Watched the intro every time, never skipped even when sometimes binging 3 or 4 episodes in an evening.
Started on Enterprise recently and episode 1 intro, she says "what the hell is this" and episode 2 says skip it.
