Someone from my grade school class just died. I just remember her as quiet and shy, and had pretty handwriting.

I never kept in touch but I looked her up and a top result is a drug conviction. There's her mugshot in the paper. Her and her companions look rough. So sad her life went to some dark places.

And the same night I learn some meth addicts down the road shot a puppy with a .22. A woman came by in hysterics about her lost puppy, she was distributing flyers. They found the puppy over at the meth addicts property.

I think I've decided to move.
