Quick beauty pics of Contra, my cutest pullet. Her egg was laid by an Easter egger and dad is a Polish x copper Maran. She’s got the build and beard of an Easter egger, with a bit of a Polish pouf, all painted Maran black. She’s always been easy to spot because she’s so very black: black legs, black beak and face, black eyes.
(She’s named after the 80s video game, but I also think she’s the cutest cia-funded counter-revolutionary chicken in my flock)
