I'm curious to know how they did it, I'm pretty paranoid about my servers but I know anyone is still hackable. My guess is chudbuds did something stupid like allow password login for ssh, no fail2ban or easy password admin account. Using a software vulnerability is a much more sophisticated attack that takes time to research. 🤷
