It's worse! There were merge and fix tools still early in 2024, but all were removed from Android.
They're probably still there on the web Gmail, but no fkn way I'm giving Google Contacts.
It's not too much of a stretch to see this as literally taking away your own control and rights to YOUR PERSONAL CONTACT LIST.
