There’s a risk with every piece of personal information put online.
But still there is a place for a client that asks for an email to increase adoption.
No one outside nostr has any clue what npub means and I don’t think that’s an advantage.
Private keys also being shared between any clients makes it a lot more riskier than having one place like a vault like wallet to sign you in for every nostr app using it or some form of abstraction to not be giving out full access to your profile for every client etc.
