We have been forced to install GitHub Copilot at work. It’s not great. When I’m calling a function, my editor used to helpfully suggest an autocomplete based on functions it knows exist in the code base, with exactly the arguments they take. Very helpful! But with GitHub Copilot, this has been replaced. It now just makes up plausible sounding functions that may or may not exist, with plausible sounding arguments that the real function may or may not take. It’s incredibly frustrating.
